Our Reviews
I personally feed my cat Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula, and have for several months now.
We got our cat from a shelter, and the Shelter was good enough that they felt the same way about feeding a good food as I do. They were feeding the cats all Solid Gold Katz'n Flocken, which is another fantastic food! But I was reading the gauranteed analysis on the food and saw that Taste of the Wild had a higher protein content. And since cats should have a higher protein in their foods, and I liked the venison and salmon in their formula, I decided to see how our cat would like Taste of the Wild. As soon as I gave it to her, that became her favorite food next to the Solid Gold canned tuna we feed her. And since we want to feed her a diet of dry and wet cat food, I decided to switch her from Solid Gold Katz'n Flocken, to Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula and keep her on the Solid Gold canned tuna (the cat food tuna is just like the human grade tuna, with chunks of tuna, but it also has the taurine and other nutritional benefits that cats can't get from canned tuna you get in the supermarket for your meal).
Our cat has a beautiful coat, she is about 2 to 5 years old (shelter cat!) and acts like a kitten, has the zoomies all over the house, and is as healthy as a horse. She is free fed the Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula, and as much as she does eat, she is the ideal weight. I hope we never have to find any other brand.
Also, it bares mentioning that like a lot of premium foods, Taste of the Wild was not included in the 2007 FDA petfood recalls. This gives us peace of mind!
